Been nice to be working on All 4 of the new branches for The Travel Place. The Travel Place are a local independent travel agent with some familiar faces that will be well known to quite a few local customers! Some nice hand painted quotes in different brush scripts have been painted in most of the branches, with a few hand done logos and other bits and bobs to boot. A lot of the time these walls tend to be just vinyl nowadays, so its great to add a bit of the personal touch to these walls and to be asked to do this all by hand. Forgot to add this one, I blame it on this heat! :) Nice little job for a local customer here in leicester. After a respray it needed a bit of custom lining/pinstriping based on what was on the vehicle originally just to set it off. Bit of travelling around Leicestershire this last couple of weeks.... Hand Painting and Gold-leaf Gilding on a board or two in Oadby and over to Great Bowden in Market Harborough for a bit of Traditional Signwriting on a new fascia @Bowden-stores. Both jobs are repeat customers so a big thanks to all my repeat business. I'm incredibly grateful for your trust in my work and look forward to seeing you again in the future!  A bit of hand-painted signage @theoldhorse on London Rd in Leicester. The Old Horse is one of the Leicester's most iconic pubs and stands opposite Victoria Park just outside the City Centre. Nice little fiddly job painting over all those slats!🤪... especially on raw timber, but happy how it came out. What a cracker of a board it is! ...just love to see all these old boards with entries going back generations. That being said, the last few entries are quite 'a bit' out ( not my work lol! ) Anyway, it has 'Character' as my Dad mentioned yesterday, which is the perfect word to describe this board I think! It was agreed we go back to the style and weight of most of the earlier entries so that's what I tried to match as near as possible here.
