Signwriting a classic - TT Escort Mk1 1973 - John Hanson.

Last few weeks have seen some interesting projects, this one included.
I had the honour of recently being contacted by a customer who owns a very rare car, and has been in the process of restoring it over the past years. The car is a Ford Escort Mk, originally driven by the late Peter Hanson & John Hanson which won the Tourist Trophy at Silverstone in 1973. The car is near fully restored to its original state and i was asked to hand paint and signwrite the original lettering and logos, replicating the colours and designs as near as possible from old photographs. Lovely job to do and a big thankyou to the owner for the honour of letting me loose with my brushes on such an iconic vehicle! 👍🙏
