Leicester Glass Gilding - Gold Leaf & Signwriting 2019.

Always a joy to be commissioned by a client to do a traditional glass gilded signwritten sign.
There is nothing quite like 23.5ct pure gold-leaf and the effect it gives on glass!
really nothing comes close to it to be honest, the artificial products just don't give the same glow and effect.
On this project I used quite a few different processes and finishes to achieve the end result,
All the signwriting is direct to the reverse of the glass, with the various layers applied seperately.
The Gold is yellow 23.5ct loose leaf.
