Got the honour of doing some more Historic Restoration Signwork here in my home city of Leicester. This time in the Legal Quarter of Greyfriars Conservation Area. Project being to restore an original old wooden sign for a local Law Stationers ( sadly long gone now ) to its former glory. This being just a small part of the restoration underway at the moment around this side of the city. The lettering was traced and copied before restoring the sign itself, then the lettering was repainted the same style, layout and colours as the original using tradition hand painted methods. Really pleased how this came out and a pleasure to be able to work as part of this Historic Project. Big thanks to Justin for the shout also! Before Restoration Finished Sign
